Securing the Future of the Past – The Powell-Cotton Museum at Quex Park is successful in an Arts Council Strategic Planning Award.

Director of the Museum, Karen Botha said “The success of our bid for £ 240 000.00 over two years from the Renaissance Strategic support fund is an enormous result that will set our  Museum on the right road to sustainability and resilience.   READ MORE


News from our Educator!

 


Smokescreen Visuals and Perf@ECT gave a very real performance of the conservation drama SNARED at the museum on Thursday night.  Funds raised on the night will be shared between the Born Free Foundation and The High Five Club. 

Our garden volunteers Manny Mvula together with his wife Dr Cheryl Mvula run the High Five Club, we very much look forward to working with them both agin in the near future.

You can see Snared at the Gulbenkian Theatre in Canterbury on 13 February 2013.

NEW Winter Opening Dates

To celebrate our NEW Winter Opening Dates from Tuesday 15 January 2013 until 28 March 2013, we are pleased to offer a reduced entry price of £3.50 (Applies to all adults, children, groups and concessions for entry to the Museum and Gardens) from 15th January 2013 - 28th March 2013. Quex House is closed until 28th March. Published entry fees apply from 29th March 2013. Full entry fees will apply to February Half Term.
