Powell-Cotton Museum, Quex House and Gardens
Gallery Stewards - to assist in welcoming and engaging with our visitors within the Museum galleries and Front of House. Full traing will be given on all aspects of these roles.
Garden Assistants - to assist us with the Garden Restoration Project to return our gardens to their former glory. All aspects of our Gardens require much attention... and reinvestment and we are very excited to have embarked on what will be an interesting and fulfilling journey.
In order to achieve our goals we will need as much help as possible and would appreciate any time you may have to volunteer as part of our friendly and dynamic team!

As part of a collaborative restructuring exercise have a vacancy for an
ACCOUNTING OFFICER
This full-time post will be based in the Estates Company’s offices at Quex Park and will have the responsibility for maintaining the financial and accounting requirements of both organisations. The Estates Company will be the employer, as most time will be spent carrying out their requirements, with an average of one day per week working for the Museum.
The successful applicant will have experience of accounting principles, computerised accounting programmes, preparation of financial reports, payroll systems, book-keeping, HM Customs & Excise, general administration and will hold a minimum qualification of AAT or similar.
